If you enjoyed the non-verbal performance JUMP, you’ll be interested in RUCKUS: the SKOOL. This new release comes from director Lee Joon-sang, who also directed JUMP. While JUMP was set in the home of a family of martial arts masters, RUCKUS: the SKOOL shifts the action to a martial arts school.
The play opens with the actors making their way to school, instantly captivating the audience with intense martial arts and acrobatic action. The Music Class that follows is the episode that truly sets the show apart. The students, who aspire to become world-class action actors, K-pop dancing singers, Michelin-starred chefs, and more, impress the audience with their hip-hop energy, including rapping and beatboxing. In Gym Class, the audience gets directly involved, transforming the show from a non-verbal performance to an immersive experience. Scenes featuring cartoon and game elements add to the highlight.
