Explanation

Jangsu is known for producing some of Korea’s finest Hanu (Korean beef) and apples. Launched in 2007 with these two local specialties at its heart, the festival reaches its 20th edition in 2026, making a long and distinguished history. It also holds the distinction of being Korea’s first Red Color Festival. Since 2024, the festival has expanded its focus from Hanu and apples to a broader range of Jangsu Red Foods, including omija and tomatoes. It now also features a growing selection of processed specialties such as apple beer, apple soju, apple bread, and omija wine. Having evolved from Korea’s first Red Color Festival into the country’s first Red Food Festival, the event continues to expand its scope and enhance its standing as one of Korea’s leading cultural tourism festivals.

Seoul Autumn Festa is a seasonal brand that weaves Seoul’s autumn into the fabric of the performing arts. During the official season, which runs for 73 days from September 18 to November 29, festivals of all sizes and individual performances come together to create a stage that transforms all of Seoul into a canvas of art. The Moonlit Night Exercise Busan Challenge is a Busan-specific community sports program designed to encourage even citizens who are not accustomed to exercise or have little interest in it to participate in community sports activities in an easy and enjoyable way. Its goals are to expand citizen participation in community sports, promote health, and foster a vibrant nighttime leisure culture. Hosted and organized by the Busan Metropolitan City, this citizen-participation event utilizes outdoor spaces—such as Busan’s iconic parks and waterfront areas—to allow residents to enjoy recreational sports regularly every week under the moonlight on autumn nights. The main program consists of a variety of recreational sports activities—including calisthenics, yoga, circuit training, Zumba, and children’s exercise—led directly by well-known fitness influencers. In addition, the event features recreational sports performances—such as Taekwondo, jump rope, boxing, and cheerleading—as well as cultural performances including magic shows, comedy acts, busking, and concerts. It is a festival-style event that also features participatory activities where citizens can directly engage and have fun, such as the Citizen Fitness Challenge, the Fitness Champion Contest, Tabata and Spinning Challenges, and the Random Play Dance Challenge. The event venue will feature booths offering recreational sports experiences—such as Archery, Basketball, Bowling, and Golf—as well as health-related activities like fitness assessments, exercise prescriptions, taping, and pain management. It will also include a variety of hands-on programs designed for families to participate in together. The COSMOS BIGBANG 20TH ANNIVERSARY MEDIA EXHIBITION is an exhibition that celebrates the 20th anniversary of the group BIGBANG’s debut by presenting their music and activities over the past 20 years through media art. With “COSMOS” as its theme, the exhibition uses content tailored to each space to embody the connections and continuity linking the past, present, and future. It is being held at Dududo Seoul, an underground space located between Seoul Station and Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station, and visitors enter sequentially according to their pre-booked time slots. The exhibition space consists of a media tunnel, sound visualization and listening zones, a media archive, an interactive art wall, a VR zone, and a hologram show. Utilizing digital technologies such as AI, XR/VR, holograms, and 3D motion graphics, the exhibition presents BIGBANG’s music and history through audiovisual content.
